Another full week in Chicago. This week leads up to Labor Day weekend. This will now be the SECOND year in a row I’m not going to the Minnesota State Fair. And, at the end of the week, Liz will be here again!

So, what am I up to this week? The week starts off a brunch friend-aversary raincheck with my friend, Abbey. Our friend-aversary date is 8/8. Brunch included brunch dessert (ice cream!). Then I worked a ton leading up to the long weekend. I did have a fancy dinner with my friend Katie at Sepia (a 1-Michelin star restaurant. Last week, my friends and I made drunken potluck plans, but we followed through and it was awesome. And because I’m me, so much delicious food was had this week. We did a tasting menu at HaiSous (a Vietnamese restaurant), dinner at ROOH and sushi at Yuzu. There was also brunch plans and drinks at The Violet Hour.
