In just 6 days, guess where I’m headed.

If you guessed Thailand, you were correct. What? Did you think I’d already moved back to the US? What am I doing going back to Thailand so soon? Honestly, it wasn’t planned. I didn’t have ideas to go back until April 2025.

But, life surprises you. My cousin (who is in definite need of a vacation and to unplug and recharge from work) was going. Out of pure curiosity, I asked her what flight prices were looking like. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity, round trip tickets were under $1,000. What? That’s almost unheard of. I said I’d go with her (it gave her parents peace of mind, so bonus points). I was excited to be able to show someone else MY THAILAND/BANGKOK.

So in just under 3 weeks, I’ll be back in my…4th home. I’m excited while at the same time knowing things will not be the way I left them and it’ll be a different experience this time around. Also, I had only planned for 1 month, but now it’s looking more like 2-3 months. I still haven’t found a job despite my efforts. So, work life is definitely more flexible. And the visa exempt is now for 60 days (vs the 30 days). I have friends there…

Things are not turning out as planned, but that’s life. Plans change and I may not be there for as long as anticipated. It will always be there and I can always return.
