Burger Club: November

November was. a bit of a crazy month. There was only 1 time for a burger. It also happened to be the place where I was going to Ladies’ Brunch. I was considering something else, but there was something about this burger that just caught my eye.
Eden

I did not pick this place for its burger. I picked this place because they are fantastic for brunch. But upon looking at the menu, I saw that they had a burger. It wasn’t just any burger, but a burger with an accolade attached. It had grabbed the title of “Condé Nast Traveler’s Best Burgers in Chicago 2025”. I mean, this mean I should try it, right?
What I ordered:
Eden Market Burger $19
*American cheese sauce, dill pickle and grilled onion slaw, arugula, oven-dried tomatoes, black garlic dijonnaise, fries

The Review:
It was a traditional-style burger (though it may look a bit smashed in the picture). It didn’t look like the biggest burger, but it was actually quite filling. They give you an ample amount of fries as well. The fries were delicious. It couldn’t finish them, but they were delicious enough to take home. Overall, the burger itself was pretty good, but honestly, it’s not necessarily a burger I would seek out. It was definitely a quality patty, but it didn’t really taste like it was seasoned much. The toppings were fantastic and added to the burger without distracting. It was a fancier burger, but it didn’t seem so. You could definitely taste all the elements and they worked well together, but like I said, the burger itself could probably use just a tad bit more seasoning.
