Books I’m Currently Reading

Just like last year, I’m trying to read more this year. It’s March and I’m doing okay. And as of this very moment, I’ve probably bitten off more than I can chew. I’m reading actual books (ebooks) and also listening to audiobooks (great for the car – especially when it takes almost an hour to go into the city).
So what’s on my “currently reading” bookshelf:
The Secret of Secrets by Dan Brown
The Death and Life of the Great Lakes by Dan Egan
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë
The Soul of an Octopus by Sy Montgomery
To Hold Up the Sky by Liu Cixin
What are you currently reading? Do you stick to the same genre or do you change it up? Generally, I find myself reading romance (it’s really easy to get through and doesn’t require much thought). When I’m listening to an audiobook, oftentimes it’ll be an autobiography read by the author. It’s fun to listen to celebrities read their own books. It’s like they’re telling me their own stories (because they are). I’ve “read” quite a few already in 2026.
Are you in any book clubs? I’ve been in them before and I enjoy them, but, as of the moment, this girl has no time for book clubs and sticking with a read deadline. Let me know what’s on your bookshelf. Let’s not even get talk about the TBR (to be read) pile.
Love you all and catch ya in the next post!
