It was a last minute trip (kind of); it was definitely not pre-planned. The planning time was maybe all of two weeks. There were multiple reasons for the trip, but because of the short notice, there was no time to plan anything with the crew. Reason one for the trip: I haven’t been to NYC yet this year. Reason two: proximity to Philly (where Bin, Jin and Rin are). Reason three: I… Read More
That’s right. We’re nearing the end of summer and that means the state fairs are starting up again. There are actually a few that start at the end of June, but the majority of them seem to be in July and August. There are a few in September and some states linger into October and November. This “season” we started our adventures of with a mini-road trip. In 4 days, we hit… Read More
The process of video editing has slowed down a bit, but I’m determined to finish Season 6 before the end of the year…there are only 7 videos left! Whoo! The end is near (but then I have season 7 aka 2023 – which has only 12 videos, but they will probably be longer because there are more adventures!). So, here’s Episode 45 – I’m celebrating the Loy Krathong Festival with my friend… Read More
It’s another YouTube video update for everyone. This has proven to be quite the productive year. And if I’m being honest, insanely so…even though it’s slowed down a bit recently because work has picked up and I’ve started writing more. So the last update left us at Week 32. (And my most recent upload was Week 44 – that’s 12 Videos!). Please make sure to give them a watch. Subscribe to my… Read More
I had thought we were done with state fairs for the year after South Carolina. I was wrong. We ended up going to the Louisiana State Fair in mid-November. It is held every year in Shreveport, LA. New Orleans I’ve been to, Shreveport I have not. We also found it was cheaper to fly into Dallas and drive 3-3.5 hours to Shreveport than to actually fly to Shreveport. We also sacrificed a… Read More
The first of the State Fairs after deciding to embark on the State Fair bucket list was The Big E in Springfield, MA. The Big E was formally known as The Eastern States Exposition. It starts the 2nd Friday after Labor Day and runs for 7 days. It even gets the fun title of being the 5th largest fair in the nation (and I’m pretty sure the largest on the East Coast)…. Read More
An unplanned trip to Thailand, in which I discovered, 3 weeks is simply not enough time for me there. It was still the most fun and fantastic time. I met up with a lot of my friends and did some of my usual things, but also had some new experiences as well.
My 3 friends and I embarked on an adventure in Southeast Asia (and South Korea). We hit up a total of 5 countries in the span of about 1 month. We made memories and had a ton of fun adventures and have family photos to prove it.
