It was a last minute trip (kind of); it was definitely not pre-planned. The planning time was maybe all of two weeks. There were multiple reasons for the trip, but because of the short notice, there was no time to plan anything with the crew. Reason one for the trip: I haven’t been to NYC yet this year. Reason two: proximity to Philly (where Bin, Jin and Rin are). Reason three: I… Read More

The process of video editing has slowed down a bit, but I’m determined to finish Season 6 before the end of the year…there are only 7 videos left! Whoo! The end is near (but then I have season 7 aka 2023 – which has only 12 videos, but they will probably be longer because there are more adventures!). So, here’s Episode 45 – I’m celebrating the Loy Krathong Festival with my friend… Read More

An unplanned trip to Thailand, in which I discovered, 3 weeks is simply not enough time for me there. It was still the most fun and fantastic time. I met up with a lot of my friends and did some of my usual things, but also had some new experiences as well.

So, to sum up my trip to Vietnam. It was amazing! I knew I would love the food, but I didn’t have much expectations other than that. Even though I was only in 1 city for a week, it was great. It’s a beautiful country from what little I saw. So I can only imagine how the rest of the country looks and later this year, I will get a chance to explore Hanoi and Da Nang.

I’m super (very) behind in editing and uploading my videos. It’s the beginning of February and I’ve finally gotten to it. I know, I’ve been procrastinating. I wanted to take a break from 2021 and all the end of the year festivities. But then, I ended up going to Chiang Mai at the end of January and thus prolonging the editing and uploading even further. But, I’ve done it. I’ve finished up… Read More

This post started off as a post for the upload of the video from Week 7. But then, life and December got in the way and I was living, being present and out exploring the world (kind of). I was out spending time with other humans (and in essesnce, maybe gathering content – but I’m pretty bad at that in general). For me, it was a holiday month. I thought I’d be… Read More

Who loves French food? This girl [in case you can’t picture it, my two thumbs are pointing at me]. Sure I took 7 years of French in high school and college, but let’s get real that doesn’t retain unless I get to use it. And I didn’t…until this past year when I went to Paris. Whoo! First time over the Atlantic Ocean. Story aside, I’ve loved French food well before that trip… Read More

Guess what happened when I woke up this morning. I was in London. It’s real; we’re really here. Today was filled with more of the touristy stuff. Most of it for me, some of it for Anne. Our first stop was on the east side of town. We were going to the Tower of London. I really need to brush up on my English knowledge, but that’s what Anne’s here for a… Read More

Hey, guess what? It’s European Adventure time. It’s my first visit. I’m traveling with my friend Anne and it’s going to be damn AMAZING.  Our itinerary includes: London, Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam. It started because I wanted to go to Amsterdam (the other cities were added and I’m beyond excited for the trip. So travel started on Saturday at 12.25. Whoo! To say I was ecstatic might be an understatement. I had… Read More

“You shouldn’t like things because people tell you you’re supposed to.” – Jonathan Byers The Upside Down: A Stranger Things Pop-Up Bar (located in the Emporium Pop-Up space in Logan Square) In saying all this, maybe this is some advice to be taken into account. During it’s more busy times (say…at night), you kind find the line winding down the sidewalk. I’ve even heard it’s gotten so long that it goes around… Read More
